These aprons where delivered to a local gift shop. I may be getting some to stitch up and add to my Etsy Store store!!

Weekend Dinning in Mississippi

A New Place to Dine~~

A few weeks ago my husband and I drove up to Bay St. Louis, Mississippi for a quick day trip. Just wanted to get out of the house for a bit and do a little antique shopping.

When asking one of the shop owners to recommend a good place to eat she recommended 200 North Beach. Come to find out~~~her mother owned it!!

We had lunch there and it did not disappoint! I had the special of the day which was fried eggplant with a crab and crawfish sauce and my husband had a pulled pork sandwich with homemade potato chips.

Everything was sooooo goooood!!!

This past weekend our son was in town so we took him out Saturday night to 200 North Beach. And again ~ the food was great. This time I snapped a few pics (or maybe lots of pics!)

A view from outside. It looks pretty crowded but we got there around 7:00 pm and got a table right away!

A little history on the menu cover

Love this sketch of the building on the menu cover.

All the tables had a little arrangement of fresh flower in tea cups~Charming!

A pic of the inside

And one of the bar

2 Mojitos and Maker's Mark on the rocks
All good!

Dipping sauce for the bread

Fried Green Tomatoes
Very good!

My husband & I had Seafood Gumbo
Very good!

Our son had the crab chowder
Loved it!!

I didn't get pics of all of our Entrees but this was mine.
Crab Stuffed Jumbo Shrimp
Very very good!

This is a beautiful pic my son took when we left.
It's a tree across the street from the restaurant with angels carved in the trunk.
Not sure what the story of this is. I'll have to check into that. I wish I would have
gotten a pic of it before the sun went down but I really love the way this pic came out!

And speaking of the sun going down~ I took this pic from the car when we where leaving.
Beautiful!

And this was our scenery on the drive home!
Perfect!

We will surely be checking out more places to eat in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi!
It was just a short ride from home and worth the trip!!
